Corrections & Clarifications

COMMITMENT TO ACCURACY

The Fine Print is committed to accuracy and transparency. When errors occur, they are corrected promptly and clearly.

Substantive corrections are noted at the end of the relevant piece, indicating what was changed and why. Where an error materially affects understanding, the correction is made visible rather than quietly amended.

Clarifications may be added when language was imprecise, context was insufficient, or additional information meaningfully improves reader understanding. These are not treated as admissions of fault, but as part of responsible editorial practice.

Minor typographical errors that do not affect meaning may be corrected without notice.

Readers are encouraged to flag potential errors or request clarification by contacting the editorial team. Engagement of this kind is treated as a contribution to accuracy, not a challenge to authority.

Maintaining trust with readers is an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time achievement.

Corrections are not exceptions to our work. They are part of it.
